Keepers. - One of My Kind (Original Mix)

It’s been a while since we at TheHundred have had the chance to feature a track by Keepers. Since being featured as part of Night Supply’s first release back in 2013, they have flown underneath the radar, releasing a few mixes for So Gnar and EDM Sauce while also being booked for the Westword Music Showcase and The Underground Music Showcase in Denver over the past year. Taking samples from the INXS 1987 smash single “Need You Tonight”,”One of My Kind” is nothing short of a pure groover. This deep cut, rife with low end punch, creatively using the stems to turn this late 80s pop driven tune into bass driven house track that seamlessly blends kick drum and pad together to produce an exceptional hook that send the listener down the rabbit hole for the deep, yet intoxicating sound of Keepers. Oh, and don’t forget about Michael Hutchence’s sultry voice mixed down into that catchy guitar rift. Swoon. The future seems bright for Peter Washington & Collin McKenna, whom while securing a spot at the first annual Cloak & Dagger Festival as well as holding down multiple residencies in the city of Denver, have shown that patience is a virtue while proving that quality is always preferred over quantity. As always, the Night Supply crew is giving this away for FREE for just a Facebook like, so go snag yourself a copy!
